Enable Notifications for Chat @mentions by Testers
Currently, I only receive a notification when the team leader mentions me in the test chat. However, if another tester @mentions me, I don't get notified and often miss the message.
Please consider the following improvements:
1. Send a notification when a tester @mentions another tester in the chat.
Optional:
2. In the settings, add a new option: "Chat @mentions by testers", so users can choose whether to receive these notifications or not.
3. Rename the current setting "Chat @mentions" to "Chat @mentions by team leader" for clarity.

Currently, the platform only supports tagging team leaders, and tagging individual testers is not available. You’re absolutely right that in some situations it could be helpful to tag a tester to ask a question or highlight something important. However, not all testers are comfortable being tagged, and responding to other testers’ questions is not part of their responsibilities. To avoid creating unnecessary notifications or disturbing those who prefer not to be contacted in this way, we are not planning to introduce this feature at this moment. As an alternative, testers can always leave recommendations directly on the bug report page, which helps keep communication organized and visible to everyone involved.
